_ My Place Restaurant opened on July 07, 2006 located at 6206 Lake Isabella Blvd. The week before Thanksgiving 2006, we were so happy that God blessed us for the restaurant , my wife and I decided to have a free meal to all the people on Thanksgiving Day.
I walked door to door to most local merchants in Lake Isabella and the close by towns "Bodfish, Mountain Mesa, South Lake to ask for donations, and I was so lucky. The people are so awesome and care. I continued for the next few days to go get donations.

It was so cool, I can not describe the feeling I got when the people just gave me money, we were able to feed more than 350 meals lasting from 10:00 am - 03:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

I was so happy and my faith toward God was expanded for I had doubt and worry that I would have to put up my own money and things might not happen as I expected.

I can not leave out the person which helped me to get this event started. I wish him well and pray for him as I found out he is having health issues.

_ On December 23rd the day before Christmas Eve 2006, we had another event to "Feed the people" , I did it again, walking door to door, I start early 2 weeks before Christmas trying to get support and donations, but I did not get much support as far as money donated. But the volunteers are awesome, more than 20 people came to help prepare, served and clean up.
Thanks God I did not have to put out much of my own money. The show was a successful one.

_ My business partner " Paul Hill" a retired Navy Seal served tours of duty in Vietnam, and has my respect and paid back to the service men and women who gave their life to serve and protect us in the name of FREEDOM.
Also to thank God for blessing me because Paul helped as partner and supported in financial, guitarelements.com is back and staying on top of the guitar lessons & training community worldwide.
The three of us (me, my wife and Paul" decided to have a Free Veterans Meal in 2007 to Salute our Service men & Women.
This time I do not have to walk door to door to ask for donation, we can afford it with our own money.
We contacted the local Radio station and got a free public announcement for 2 weeks before the event. Thanks for the support from the people and the volunteers. We served close to 250 meals on this day.

_ On November xx the day before Thanksgiving Day 2007, we launched another Free Meal, we served more then 300 meals

_ On December xx 2007 we launched Free Meals again, more than 350 meals were served.

_ On the day before Easter Day 2008, we launched our first Easter Free Meals. As the people did not expect this was going to happen , so fewer meals were served. Just close to 280 Meals was served. Maybe next Easter will have more people.

We want to give thanks to all the people who donated and served to make these events so successful, and pray to God to provide so we can continue to do this.
We pray that, others will join us in the next events.

To give is to receive this is my story & will prove to you all. I was homeless, nothing worked but with trust and faith in GOD, I came out not bad and able to reach out to others. My dream is to have guitarelements being known by the people who like to learn guitar around the world, and if it generates revenue. I will be able to reach out far more. By stopping spending on raido advertising for myplacerestaurant-guitarelements-great vision and Using these funds to pay for the events - We get Free spots on Radio & News Papers. Turned out to be Fabulous | Dynamite Advertisement that money can't buy - Our sales went up We get more popular. It's awesome - everyone wins. May your days be as bright as your smile!
